Growing up in Georgia, I spent much of my childhood daydreaming, reading stories about faraway lands, pouring over ancient art and mythology, and making time capsules, which turned into building websites on our family computer, creating altered books and journals, mixed media painting, collages and fantasizing about life as a fashion designer or magazine editor—that attended Hogwarts wearing Baby Phat—and plenty of travel.
While studying graphic design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, I discovered my creative icons and these hard to define roles that come with being a visionary. My first internship with FLAUNT Magazine in Hollywood, opened my eyes to the indie magazine world and inner workings of a luxury creative publication.
I began my design career at MODE, a multi-disciplinary agency in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I was able to polish my love of clean classic editorial design, art direction and interior design. Around this time, I also began working with Social Gypsy, a boutique branding agency in Venice, California where I refined my bohemian luxe aesthetic with a string of mystic wellness projects.
Some years later, in dire need of a personal creative outlet I co-founded and self published FOUR, a passion project that created several unique opportunities giving me the confidence to continue pursing my dreams, wherever they led me.
I took my first backpacking trip around Europe in 2014, after which I moved back to Los Angeles and began working with Jacquie Aiche full-time. In 2016, my intense desire to travel presented itself again in the form of a year long trip around the world. I lived in Italy, Spain, Prague, Bali, Thailand and Colombia and had countless mini adventures along the way, while maintaining my career as a digital nomad.
In 2018 I took a break from traveling to build a nest and welcome my first son. Around this time, my spirituality,
self-healing, health and personal growth as an artist had taken the forefront of my life. In 2019 I ascended under Queen Afua as a healing practitioner. Sesenmoon, ATUM, and my Meskhenet were born along my journey back to self.
Presently, I am exploring the intersection of motherhood and self-care in the motherland, concentrating my attention and energy towards actualizing what came forth from my independent research, creation and artistic expression through self study and daily ritual.
